Sales in the period from January to September 2004

The sales turnover of the store chain Apranga JTC in Lithuania, Latvia and
Estonia amounted to LTL 16'987 thousand in September 2004 generating an
increase of 88.9% as compared with September of 2003.
September saw the setting of three all-time records of the Apranga network - the
largest monthly turnover, the highest growth rate and the biggest one-day sale
(LTL 1'125 thousand).
During the nine months of 2004, Apranga has already opened nine new stores. It
will continue to pursue its rapid expansion further. The Apranga JTC is going to
open its eighth GF Ferre and ninth Apranga stores in Latvia in October. In mid
November, the largest in the Baltic states Zara store will be opened in Vilnius.
It will be the 39th store of Apranga chain.
During the nine months of 2004, the retail trade of goods of the Apranga chain
grew by 38.3% and totaled LTL 88'849 thousand. The planned LTL 138 m retail
turnover for 2004 will be exceeded thanks to the successful trading and rapid
expansion of the company.
