announcement about not fullfilling  obligations as a result of heavy storm

weather classified as a "force majeure"



Between January 9th and 10th, 2005, as a result of heavy storm weather

classified as a "force majeure", the supply of electric energy ceased for

certain "Vakaru Skirstomieji Tinklai" users.



As a result of this "force majeure" event, "Vakaru Skirstomieji Tinklai"

temporarily will be unable to fullfill its obligations in accordance to purchase

(use) - sale (supply) agreements with certain users.



The supply of eletric energy will be renewed to these users once the effects of

the "force majeure" (heavy storm) event have been liquidated.
