Intensions of EBRD to invest in the shares of Siauliu Bankas AB



The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has confirmed its intension

to invest in Siauliu bankas by acquiring shares of the new issue. The EBRD

provided information on Feb. 28, 2005 concerning the fact that the issue about

the investment in the shares of Siauliu bankas would be considered by the Board

of EBRD on April 5, 2005. The holding of EBRD in the increased share capital of

Siauliu bankas AB will account for 16%.
