16.08.2005, Starman, TLN
STARMAN ANNOUNCEMENT 05.08.2005

STARMAN CHANGES ITS LOGO

Since Monday, 8 August 2005, the telecommunication company Starman uses
new symbols. The cost of the project amounts to two million Estonian kroons.

Compared to the previously used version, the business name of the company on
the new version of Starman logo is written in a different style and the
design element depicting a man in a blue circle looking at the stars is no
longer used.

According to Henri Treude, Starman's Marketing Director, the aim of the logo
change is to make the company's symbolics more clearly understandable and
visually more effective. "The logo change also has a symbolic meaning", said
Treude. "Our new image and way of communication are based on our principle
to be a service company oriented towards private customers. Therefore, the
keywords characterising our new symbols are simplicity, kindness and humanity.
Our goal is still the same - to be the best provider of telecommunication
solutions for home use."

Including technical costs and costs on the advertising campaign starting on
15 August, Starman has invested about two million kroons in the logo change
and brand development. New symbols will reach the service centres of the
company in August. Changes in other areas shall be made in course of work.

Starman is the biggest company in Estonia providing television, Internet and
telephone services on the basis of cable network. Starman's services are
available in most bigger Estonian cities and towns.

AS Starman's shares are traded on the main stock-market list of Tallinna Börs.
