INTEREST PAYMENTS ON NOTES

On 27 October 2005, AS Sampo Pank will pay interest on the floating rate notes
(SPOBMIXE12) listed in the Tallinn Stock Exchange as follows: EUR 7.73 (120.95
Estonian kroons) per note. Interests will be paid to the investors who are the
owners of the notes at 08.00 a.m. five (5) banking days before the interest
payment date (i.e. on 20 October 2005 at 08.00 a.m.) according to the data of
the the Estonian Central Register of Securities.

Until 27 January 2007 the notes of AS Sampo Pank will bear an annual interest
rate of three-months EURIBOR plus 0.90% per annum. The three-months EURIBOR which
is displayed on the appropriate Reuters screen at 11.00 a.m. Brussels time two
banking days before the respective interest payment date is taken into account in
the calculation of the interest of the respective interest payment period which
starts on this interest payment date. The three-months EURIBOR of the interest
payment period ending on 27 October 2005 was fixed on 25 July 2005.

Interests to the investors will be paid in euros. The investor has to present the
details of his/her EUR account to his/her paying agent (the Estonian Central
Securities Depository) and the issuer at least five (5) banking days before the
respective interest payment date.

In case the investor does not present his/her EUR account details to the paying
agent duly, the paying agent shall transfer the equivalent amount in Estonian
kroons (according to Eesti Pank's exchange rate valid on the interest payment
date) of the amount payable to the investor's current account which is linked to
his/her securities account with the Estonian Central Register of Securities.

AS Sampo Pank will not withhold any income tax on the interests paid on the above
notes.
