JSC „Preiļu siers” to launch a whey processing unit



JSC „Preiļu siers” has decided to purchase cheese whey processing technologies in 2006, and 

to open a new production unit, tentatively in August. A project for raising money from the 

EU Structural funds has been drafted and submitted to the Rural Development Service. The 

costs attributed to the project are LVL 2.432 million. Bank loan will be taken to finance the 

project.
