DECISION ON TRADEMARK-RELATED DISPUTES WAS POSITIVE FOR KALEV

 

The Administrative Council of the Tallinn District Court re-enforced 

the 05.06.99 decision of the Tallinn Administrative Court, which 

acknowledged the trademarks Bitter and Ritter not to be 

interchangeable, and thus the decision of the Appellate Court was 

announced illegal.

In 1996, Ritter contested Kalev’s trademark Bitter.
