Changes in ECSD price list

On 14.05.2001 the Supervisory Board of Estonian CSD (ECSD) approved the new price list of ECSD, and among other changes reduced the temporary securities accounts related service fees.

The fee for opening of temporary securities account for private persons was lowered to EEK 100 from the current EEK 400.

The Supervisory Board substantially reduced the fees for maintenance of temporary securities accounts to issuers. According to the new principles the fee for maintenance of a temporary securities account is dependent on the market value of the securities held on the account, whereas the maintenance fee for a temporary securities account opened for a private person shall not be higher than EEK 60 per month.

The new price list also stipulates a one-time, non-returnable processing fee to applicants of ECSD account operator status.

The changes to the price list will become effective on 14.05.2001, except the new fees for maintenance of temporary securities accounts to issuers, which are effective retroactively as of 01.05.2001.
