The annual International Financial Markets Conference “Expanding Market-Based Finance for Economic Growth“ is the premier international event on financial markets where policy-makers and business practitioners meet in Lithuania for thought-leadership and exchange of ideas on the topical issues.

Leading representatives of financial and closely related industries as well as key policy-makers will gather in Vilnius to share their insights on the trends and forces driving today’s financial markets, digital transformation and its impact on the financial sector, its future and the upcoming challenges of green financing. We will share the experience of the Nordic markets and learnings from the recent Baltic IPOs. The discussions will cover the future outlook, PPP for Private Capital Financing of Infrastructure Investments and much more.

The sixth annual event is organized by the Lithuanian Financial Markets Institute and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania.

Nasdaq’s panel will review the state of play and the latest developments on the Baltic capital market, including first-hand experience from the recent Baltic IPOs of Novaturas and MADARA Cosmetics. The debate will focus on the challenges and obstacles for faster development of the Baltic capital market as an effective vehicle of mobilizing capital and channeling it to companies to fund their growth and job creation. The panelists will discuss the CMU initiatives, best practices from the Nordic markets and national level actions, which can help revitalize the region’s capital market.
