On April 23 – 26 2001, Faculty of Economics of Tallinn Technical University and Tallinn Stock Exchange (TSE) organized “Money Week” in Tallinn. The event aimed at educating students as future investors on topics related to securities market and investment issues in general.

Lectures regarding securities market were given by the best finance specialists in co-operation with “Money Week” participants, including Eesti Ühispank, Hansapank, LHV Direct, Nordea Pank, and Sampo Pank. Among others performed Rain Lõhmus (LHV), Priit Põldoja (Hansapank), Jürgen Lamp (Eesti Ühispank), Johann Sulling (Sampo), Vadim Ogneshtshikov (Hansapank), Gert Tiivas (TVB).

Students were given a chance to test their abilities as a broker in “Stockbroker Game”. The players used the TSE’s real trading system software. The main aim of the game was purchase and disposal of given amount of shares, hence the winner of the game earned the biggest amount of money.
