New names of TSE and ECDS

As of February 25, 2002, or on the day of implementation of HEX’s trading system, Tallinna Väärtpaberibörs (Tallinn Stock Exchange) and Eesti Väärtpaberite Keskdepositoorium (Estonian Central Securities Depository) will have new names.

The new name for Tallinna Väärtpaberibörs will be Tallinna Börs. The new name for Eesti Väärtpaberite Keskdepositoorium will be Eesti Väärtpaberikeskus.

The names in English language will be Tallinn Stock Exchange and Estonian CSD.

HEX will be the leading brand for TSE and ECDS. TSE group, uniting the respective companies, will be named HEX Tallinn.

“The new names are simpler and easier to pronounce,” said Eva Palu, Head of Marketing and PR Department of TSE.

As of February 25, TSE and ECDS will start to use HEX’s corporate identity.

Business name change entry for ECDS (AS Eesti Väärtpaberikeskus) has been made in the commercial register. The respective entry for TSE will be made in spring 2002, based upon relevant decision by general meeting of shareholders.
