New version of Estonian Securities Market available

Tallinn Stock Exchange (TSE) and Estonian Central Depository for Securities (ECDS) have published a new version of the monthly Estonian Securities Market newsletter, the January 2001. The new version of the publication is different from previous not only because of its new design, but also its reader-friendly structure and content.

The new publication allows you to get a quick overview of major events on the Estonian securities market as well as in broad economy during the month. We have cut the amount of statistics and replaced it with processed information, as detailed statistical information is available on Internet homepages of TSE and ECDS.

Among others, the January publication covers the following topics:

• Securities market overview in 2001
• First TSE issuers published 2000 corporate results
• Trading fees substantially lower for investors
• Economic growth continues, inflation up; Moody’s sees stable outlook
• TSE plans for 2001
• Feature by Lauri Lind, Head of Equities at Hansabank Markets, on current situation and sectors to watch for in the Baltics in 2001.

The newsletter also includes major statistics of both TSE and OTC, and corporate events of TSE listed companies.
