Record number of equity trades reached at VSE

The Lithuanian securities market continues to rise in 2005 and keeps hitting new records.
Today the number of equity trades in order book of the Vilnius Stock Exchange (VSE) was the highest in history and reached 1121. The previous record of such kind was on January 5, 2005 and amounted to 991 trades per day.

Today’s total market capitalization reached LTL 26.65 billion (EUR 7.72 billion). Listed equity capitalization made LTL 18.52 billion (EUR 5.36 billion). Share turnover in order book stood at LTL 5.44 million (EUR 1.58 million).
The VSE index VILSE reached 330.96 points and LITIN-10 – 3588.30 points.
