TSE approves Kaupthing Sofi as new member

The Management Board of Tallinn Stock Exchange (TSE) approved TSE membership application of Kaupthing Sofi (Pankkiiriliike Sofi Oyj), effective as of March 7, 2002.

Kaupthing Sofi is Helsinki-based subsidiary of Kaupthing Bank, Nordic investment bank having operations in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Faeroe Islands, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the United States. The Kaupthing Group has around 480 employees.

“Kaupthing is an international investment bank and member of several stock exchanges in Europe and New York. Membership of TSE is a natural way to expand our coverage”, says Mika Lehto, Chairman of the Board of Kaupthing Sofi.

Including Sofi, TSE has 14 trading members, of which five are trading from abroad.
