The amendments of the Labor Code of Lithuania as of December 20, 2005 state that if holidays coincide with weekly rest days, the weekly rest days shall be provided on the workdays following the mentioned holidays. On December 22, 2005, the Government of the Republic of Lithuania took a decision to move weekly rest days of 2006 as follows:
– from February 11, Saturday, to February 17, Friday
– from July 1, Saturday, to July 7, Friday
– from August 19, Saturday, to August 14, Monday.
