The fair was opened by finance minister Siim Kallas, investment banker Rain Lõhmus, Sydney Olympic Games medallist Indrek Pertelson and TSE chairman Gert Tiivas. Opening speeches highlighted the importance of having long-term goals and sustainable effort in one’s success.

Television channel TV3 recorded publicly a special money edition of the popular TV quiz-show Kuldvillak (Jeopardy). The game was led by finance minister Siim Kallas and players were central bank governor Vahur Kraft, investment banker Rain Lõhmus (LHV) and Allan Martinson, CEO of IT services provider Microlink.

Therefore we intend to organise similar events also in the future," said Gert Tiivas, the CEO of Tallinn Stock Exchange.

The investment culture promotion activities were supported with the launch of a virtual share investment game, organised by Äripäev and Tallinn Stock Exchange. The investment game will be closed on November 17th.
